I am pleased to announce that Jefferson County was just approved for Individual Assistance from FEMA. We are still in the process of determining exactly which programs our residents will be eligible for and further details will follow.It is important that we encourage those affected to register with FEMA. They can do so by going to www.disasterassistance.gov or by calling (800) 621-3362.
