CDOT (and Lawrence Construction) are about complete with repairs to State Highway 72. They have a few days more work after Christmas, but have packed up most of their equipment and personnel. Thanks to their efforts things are getting back to normal.
The construction zone speed restriction have been lifted. The speed limit signs have been uncovered, and the speed limits on State Highway 72 has been returned to normal.
Please continue to drive safely and appropriately to the conditions, but there should be less heavy equipment and fewer construction personnel along the sides of the road.
