Today the National Weather Service issues a Red Flag warning that includes Coal Creek Canyon. A Red Flag warning means weather conditions (typically winds and heat combined) are set for potential extreme fire behavior; i.e. significant combustion and rapid spread. A red flag warning allows no open air burning.
This restriction is in effect until 7PM tonight.
