Level 1 Fire Restrictions are now in place for the entirety of the Coal Creek Canyon Fire Protection District due to the recent warming/drying trend as well as fire suppression activities in our region. Campfires on private property, within permanent fire rings or fire places, that are no more than approximately three feet in diameter and three feet high, are permitted. That being said, please be aware that our fire danger rating continues to increase and that your fire department has responded to three wildland fires in the past week.
