Because of the recent and predicted weather conditions, the counties within the Coal Creek Canyon Fire Protection District have lowered from a Level 2 Fire Ban to Level 1 Fire Restrictions.
Outdoor campfires are now permitted in a permanently constructed fire pit on private lands and developed campgrounds, but are still prohibited on all other public lands.
