While we are fortunate to not be under fire restrictions this year, we’d like to remind our residents and visitors that the misuse of fireworks poses a potential threat to our community. Know the laws around the use of fireworks in Colorado.
(Any person who violates the laws pertaining to the sale, possession, and use of fireworks commits a class 3 misdemeanor and faces up to $750 in fines, six months in prison, or both.)
