All of us were appalled, angered, and saddened by Monday’s events in Boulder. Some of us have been touched personally by this senseless loss of life. The Scroggins family, who are owners of Denver West Deli & Catering and also members of the Coal Creek Canyon Fire Department Support Team, have come up with a way for our community to make a difference and support the healing of all those affected by the shooting.
Please see the attached flyer entitled “Pasta with a Purpose”, and consider joining members of Coal Creek Fire Rescue on Sunday to pick up a Spaghetti dinner and contribute to this worthy cause. All donations will be collected by the CCCIA as a 501(C)3 and then funneled through the Colorado Healing Fund for distribution to those affected by this tragedy.
