UPDATE: Conditions have extended the red flag warning /no open burning to include Sunday, April 10th 2022.
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Saturday, April 9, 2022 that includes Coal Creek Canyon. No open burning will be permitted within the Coal Creek Canyon Fire Protection District.
Our fire weather zones are Fire Weather Zone 239 (below 6,400 ft) and Fire Weather Zone 215 (above 6,400 ft.).
