The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Friday, April 22, 2022 that includes Coal Creek Canyon. No open burning will be permitted within the Coal Creek Canyon Fire Protection District.
There will be Critical Fire Weather conditions Friday due to very low humidity and gusty winds, so exercise caution.
Our fire weather zones are Fire Weather Zone 239 (below 6,400 ft) and Fire Weather Zone 215 (above 6,400 ft.).
