The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Wednesday, May 11th, 2022 that includes Coal Creek Canyon. No open burning will be permitted within the Coal Creek Canyon Fire Protection District.
A Fire Weather Watch has also been posted for Thursday, so burn restrictions are expected to continue into tomorrow, May 12th.
Our fire weather zones are Fire Weather Zone 239 (below 6,400 ft) and Fire Weather Zone 215 (above 6,400 ft.).
