Updated: The National Weather Service had forecast a Red Flag Warning for Friday, March 31, 2023, but conditions have changed, and we will not officially meet Red Flag criteria in the Canyon. Despite that, we will have High fire danger conditions in Coal Creek Canyon today because of high winds and low humidity.
Our fire weather zones are Fire Weather Zone 239 (below 6,400 ft) and Fire Weather Zone 215 (above 6,400 ft.).
